Our Winter session begins Wed, Jan 6.
The goal of Awana is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love, and serve God. While it’s a serious mission, we believe having fun in the process is a gret tool for reaching young people. Since 1950, churches have used Awana to extend God’s love to kids. It is a proven way for churches to impact their communities and train children for leadership.
Three Segments provide start-to-finish excitement in every club meeting:
Game Time
Team competition takes place in our circle games and during other playground favorites. The Awana game circle provides maximum opportunity for children to get involved, no matter their athletic ability. They unleash their energy while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and other character traits through their participation.
Handbook Time
Kids work one on one with a trained leader to finish assignments in their curriculum materials. Awana emphasizes memorizing and understanding key Bible verses that teach children how to know and follow God. A series of awards and trophies reward their achievements at every level.
Council Time
Kids and leaders gather together for singing, announcements, awards presentations, and, most importantly, a practical Biblical message.
This fall we will offer Awana for children 3 years old through 6th grade. We will have child care available for nursery-2yrs. Our meetings will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm. Cost is $20 per child plus uniform (additional $10 each).
