Mid-Week Bible Classes

Mid-week Bible classes are a series of classes offered to the church body on for its edification. We offer a wide variety of classes ranging from those topics dealing with family issues such as parenting and divorce, to academic issues such as creation science and theology. These courses are taught by pastors and church leaders with knowledge about and experience in the course area, and are open to anybody who would like to take them. All classes are offered free of charge, but some do have required reading that may necessitate that the student purchase some books. Spring 2010 Classes

Tuesdays

Grace for Divorce

Jeff Brown

This class faces the tough emotion scars that come from divorce. Using the booklet Working Through the Crisis, Jeff will be teaching about how to have victory over the hurt and the grace that the Lord gives.

Wednesdays

Church History & Modern Missions

Andrew McCall

Andrew McCall recently moved back to the valley with his wife Dori and their two boys after living in Europe for the last seven years. The last four of those years he was senior pastor of a church in a small town in Hungary. After feeling God's leading to come back to Boise, they packed their bags and headed home.

This class will dig into the major protestant movements throughout church history and key figures who characterized and inspired each one. Join us as we delve into history and let it impact our future!

Revelation

Marlon Brown

Marlon brown has been involved in various aspects of ministry for the past 5 years. He, along with his wife Rebecca and their three children, previously served at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta California. Marlon served on the teaching staff at the Bible college and helped serve as an assistant to the Dean of Men. They have a heart for foreign missions and will be serving here in Boise until the Lord leads them on.

This class will be an overview of the book of Revelation. By His grace we will see what Christ desires to reveal to us about, “… the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.” Rev. 1:19

The Supremacy of Christ: A Study through Hebrews

Pastor Tom Velasco 

In this class you will discover powerful truths revealed in the book of Hebrews that distinguish Jesus from all other religious leaders.  You will learn why He was a superior priest, a superior sacrifice and why He has a superior name. Your heart will be changed as you see the glory of Christ and your passion for Him will be ignited.
