With incredible personal sacrifice, native pastors move to the harsh conditions of a city slum or remote village to live alongside those they serve. With fewer language and cultural barriers to overcome, they have a great advantage toward reaching their nation for Christ. These advantages, however, do not lessen the risks they face every day. The message of God's love is spreading fast and people are turning to Christ in amazing numbers and the need for pastoral support is great.

Your gifts allow a Calvary Chapel pastor to conduct multiple weekend and mid-week worship services, fasting and prayer meetings, men's and women's Bible studies, Children Center activities, visits to the poor, and one-on-one discipleship and counseling.

Thousands of primarily Hindu children are reached with the love of Christ every week at a CMI Children's Center. Run by our native pastors and evangelists, these centers invite children to learn about Jesus through Bible teaching, song, drama, and dance. Children are also instructed in reading, writing, and basic hygiene. For many, this is the only education they receive. Parents are grateful for the help and many have put faith in Christ as a result of this neighborhood outreach. These centers pave the way for establishing a Calvary Chapel fellowship within the community. In villages and slums surrounding CMI's ministries, people have been identified as AIDS sufferers by our missionaries and pastors. Monthly sponsorship provides medicines, rent, and food for a family suffering with AIDS as well as spiritual guidance and counseling.
