AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, which states “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”
The AWANA program greatly benefits all children involved through the reading and memorization of God’s word, visitor friendly atmosphere, fun team building games, engaging worship, one on one time with class leaders, and a weekly lesson each child can apply to their life. Some of the best fruit from the AWANA program comes during the handbook time where the children recite their memory verses to their leaders. During this time the leaders have the opportunity to ask each child questions about the Bible verses and show them how the verses can benefit them in real life situations. This time also blesses the volunteers as it continually reminds them of how to apply the Bible to their own lives.
In order for your child to get the most out of the AWANA program, your partnership with us is essential. Please support your child’s interest in the program by sitting down with them during the week, helping them memorize their verses and encouraging enthusiasm about AWANA. Many parents have seen that the best way to participate and create enthusiasm with their child is to become apart of the AWANA program through volunteering. Please prayerfully consider serving the children with us this year in AWANA, you will be blessed.
Awana Begins Wednesday, September 19!
When in session, AWANA takes place on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Classes are based on child's age as of Sept 1, 2012.
Club Dues: $40/child/year (Sept 2012 through May 2013)
Dues help provide the funds needed for handbooks, awards, prizes, and incentives.
