Connecting with Others

God tells us that fellowship with other believers is important. If you've come to a weekend service at Calvary, you've probably noticed that it can be challenging to meet people in such a large group. The goal of CORE Groups is to provide small group environments for individuals to grow spiritually, develop lasting, meaningful and supportive relationships, and embrace opportunities to reach out to the community.

What you'll be studying

Seasons of Life and Neighborhood groups typically use the Study/Discussion Guide written each week by Pastor Bob. It's based on his weekend message, and contains a verse-by-verse outline to help you better understand biblical truths. The guide also includes discussion questions that encourage the group to share what they’re learning as well as develop practical ways to apply it to their lives.

Also included each week are related Family of Promise materials designed to help develop practical applications for your whole family. Whether your group is comprised of families with young children, teens, or no children, these resources will help you build loving relationships in your home. You can find out more at our Family of Promise ministries and regularly scheduled events here.

Topical groups last 10-14 weeks and cover specific personal interests such as marriage, parenting, finances, biblical worldviews, grief, divorce, and more. They are based on books or DVDs from reliable Christian authors.
