Welcome to the School of Ministry
Our purpose at the Calvary Chapel Boise School of Ministry is threefold. First, we wish to offer those that desire to go into full time ministry an opportunity to take a year out of their lives and spend time in serious study of the word of God. Secondly, we wish to offer these students instruction in practical ministry principles that will help them to fulfill the calling God has placed on their lives. Thirdly, we wish to offer intense personal discipleship to our students by members of our pastoral and leadership staff.
The training we offer is general and is focused primarily on the study of the scriptures. In this, we emphasize principles of service and leadership beneficial to every area of ministry. As such, people that are called into many different kinds of ministries will benefit from what the school has to offer. Some of our graduates have moved on to serve as missionaries, worship leaders, youth pastors, children’s ministry workers, and assistant as well as senior pastors.
We are open to men and women over the age of eighteen who feel the Lord’s call on their lives. If you think the Lord is calling you to ministry, and you wish to “stir up” the gift of God that is in you, we would love to be of help to you in that.
